I dont see how anyone is bringing arch enemy into this. The two band sound nothing alike save for the fact that they have a female vocalist. Thats like comparing L7 to melt banana. Yall stoops. Anyway that wasnt the point in the first place...shes got ass for days, dimples, ripped up brutal truth shirts, and talks about gene wolfe and william gibson in interviews.

Sorry I'm stupid, I know they're different but tehy do have things in common, but no guitar solos. It was still good, adn the video was cool too.

I think you're exaggerating the difference. They both play fast, aggressive, riff-based rock. Saying they're completely different ignores 99% of music. Is Arch Enemy more like The Jonas Brothers? If you're going to be specific, you have to be relative.

I made it simplistic because I know that metal fans tend to go overboard with their genre specifications, and I wanted to avoid an argument over the differences between death metal and metalcore and deathcore and speedcore and grindcore and whatever other nonsense there is. I still haven't been able to figure out what grindcore is supposed to be anyway
