My guitarist is a girl and even uses one of Devi's pedals [kp] but she doesn't like being social on the net and only owns one fuzz which she never uses; she likes overdrive and delay.. and echo.. and delay... and delay...

When seen from behind, I am frequently mistaken for a woman. It's true, I have long hair. But I'm 5'11, 200 pounds, broad shouldered, hairy legged, and have a "distinctively man's ass" as it was once called. So, I find it quite comical most of the time, since it's pretty obvious that I'm painfully male.
I was at the gas station once, and the pump thingy was screwed up. So over the intercom I kept hearing this "Ma'am... Ma'am? Ma'am!" and I finally yelled "ARE YOU TALKING TO ME?!" and turned around toward the station attendant inside the quickie mart. Normally I just roll with it, but apparently this night I was pissed off, so I stormed in there and yelled "MA'AM?! Really?" and the guy apologized about 15 times. I think my beard was trying to strike him.

...and IF he did, SO WHAT? That's perfectly normal, not gross. At least it hasn't been to a vast majority of the adult women - who don't call themselves girls either - I've been around with the past twenty years.
