had a small party with my GF and a few close friends; she and my best friend surprised me with a very nice and quite expensive black Resistol cowboy hat...it was like a US$90 hat in 1974, which would be a $300-350 hat now. i guess they liked me :cry:

Thought i would report back here. Twas really pleasant. A lot of people who I wouldn't consider my closest friends but ones I still love came over to visit. Went to the pub with my good friends and had a great time.
Today all my other closest friends finish their exams for good so we are going to hit the casino :thumb:
I think they are going to get me a stripper.

not totally sure... but most likely i stayed home, watched hockey and ate chinese food. at least that's what i always seem to do for birthdays these days.

i'm not very adventurous :idk:
