I stocked up at the doctor in Goodspring early on.
I'm about five hours deep and, so far, I have had zero bugs. I expected it to be ridden with bugs considering all I've been hearing.

I've only had one bug so far. I entered a building my companions couldn't enter, when I came out one of them had disappeared. Problem is, the game thinks their still with me so I can't recruit a new companion

I learned early on in Oblivion to quicksave before you do anything of significance (such as going through a door). It applied to Fallout 3 and I'm sure Vegas as well.
Game-breaking glitches are the worst.

I'm loving it outside of the bugs here and there. After I installed the game on my xbox's hard drive the glitchiness went away.
I love how huge some of the environments are, sometimes I'd be disappointed in Fallout 3 when I didn't have anything left to explore in a vault. I also like that they upped the difficulty, Fallout 3 was easy for me to survive in. I had 300 stimpaks on me all the time and tons of ammo.
Anywho, I have two games going right. My roommate got it too and he went through using only melee and unarmed, it was sweet.

There are so many perks for unarmed and melee he was pretty powerful. Especially with the Ballistic Fist!

SPOILER ALERT!! Scroll down at your own peril..
I tried to do that quest where you clear the subway tunnels of Nightkin, to assist that non-feral Glowing One (Mr Bright, I think his name was..)
Needless to say, it did not go well

Nope..no groin-shots..just the VATS targeting system from FO3 (head, left arm, right arm, left leg, right leg, and torso)
