You're kidding? Thailand they pick mangoes green and hard, so they're kinda like the texture of apples, and you dip them in a mixture of sugar and chili. Tastes great. They do it with other stuff too: guava, dried pineapple, tamarind ... awesome.

Dude, I promise. I only tried it because I felt the two forces shouldn't meet. However, after the free sample incentive and the shock of trying it, I had to have it. i love hot sauce and spiciness in general. sometimes i overdo it and need to go mild for a few days, though...

I swear this topic comes up every few months. I still maintain that the best hot sauces have a dude with a big hat on the label. It doesn't matter the brand... somehow, the sombrero makes it tasty.

Also, how many of you have noticed that those hot sauces that contain vinegar are some of the least flavourful? I go out of my way to get the spice with no vinegar in it.

Tabasco is shit.

I met my match with Blair's After Death Sauce. That shit ripped me in half. I still ate it several times though.

Blair's Death Sauce (original) and some red jalapen~o sauce from Trader Joe's are probably my favourites. :emoticon:

Why would anyone think I hadn't tried it? I have, multiple times, and every time I remember why I don't like it. They do that kind of stuff in Guam, amongst other places, and I avoided it when I lived there as well. Something I didn't avoid, however, were bananas and mango's right from the branch.

I love hot sauce for the flavor!


And NO ONE believes me, but it's actually delicious on brownies.
