RHD Japanese third gen RX-7s have become quite common in my area, but almost every single one of them has some hideous wing on the back, tacky carbon fibre hood, grotesque chrome rims, and ridiculous ground effects kits (usually dented and scraped to shit and hanging off).
They are pretty rare up in New England, but I totally agree that almost every one I see has been hideously riced out. I never understood that, because they were such beautiful cars as is. I took it to several car shows where people were amazed to see one that was still bone-stock. They all said they hadn't seen one like that in almost a decade.
