Bolton has been our achilles heel for years now. Generally not at The Emirates, though.

i'm an American fool for world football. i got into the game in the 1990s, when Premiership matches became widely available in the US on FSC...i was just a bit too old to learn the game in school, which was just being introduced to the PE curriculum as i went out of high school. i support Liverpool and Barcelona, and whoever Ronaldinho's playing for. we love Ronaldinho so much at my house that we named one of our cats after him. i'm so happy that the major leagues are starting up again i can hardly tell you. finally i can turn on the toob and see something that's not the same shit they showed last month, or last year, and isn't about ghosts, pawnshops, or Nazis.

Liverpool respectable. Barca.....

for obvious reasons.

it's kind of weird to see my Reds finally improving and see Barca going wobbly after what seems like an eternity of watching Liverpool go around in circles and hang at fourth or fifth in the tables. on the other hand, Barca absolutely embarrassed Shaktar in the Champions League match the other night.

damn GolTV. they could put the fucking repeat dates up like they do on Fox Soccer.
on the other hand, they have Scottish color commentators. i think everything should have Scottish color commentators: NASCAR, Dancing With The Stars, professional bull riding, the MTV Awards, the national political conventions, the State of the Union speech, the NBA...i ask you, what on American TV would not be improved by the addition of Ray Hudson?

It's usually in the info section. Usually. Barca wont be playing champions league footy till fall. We start Tuesday with a really tough tie against udinese.

I really ought to pay proper attention to the schedules this year. shit has been so scattered in the last year that i haven't stayed on top of it, and the fact that they don't broadcast the games regularly doesn't help. even though you can watch the matches on the LFC website, i find it very difficult to watch the game on a PC screen, so i only see maybe one of every 4 or 5 Liverpool matches when they're on cable. at least they show Barca every week.

RealMadrid!
No good reason why,
Played 2 years of college soccer, highschool didn't have a team.
Love to play, don't catch much on TV as I don't generally watch TV

does anyone, other than folks who support the team of the city/area they live/grew up in. really have a rational reason for why they're a fan? all i know is that when i started watching the Premier League, i liked Liverpool. what can i tell you? on a rational-analysis level, i can say that for someone with an underdog mentality like me supporting, say, ManU would be as unlikely as being a Yankees fan, but i don't make those decisions by weighing logical criteria.
