If we are talking death,....MLK JR was assassinated on my berfday (of course 11 years earlier).

Also Kurt Cobain took his life right around my berfday. He was found on April 8th,...and reportedly been dead since the 5th,...but there could be some wiggle room in there (my birthday is April 4th)
