Problem is there's no competition to them I guess, yet they're relatively unregulated by any government. Sure recipe for disaster. I suppose given those things they haven't been completely awful though.
The first time, I just had to confirm my SSN and answer an automated call. I was cool with that. I appreciate security.
But this is ridiculous. And they STILL HAVEN'T REMOVED THE LIMITS. Nor will they reply to emails, and when I call them they tell me to email.
I never had a problem until this... and it's bullshit.

Turns out the problem wasn't paypal. They finally told me that. It's that they go through a credit bureau and, well, I don't have any credit. So I can't get a credit report. They're just now telling me this. There's over 800 dollars in the account now. I've been calling the credit bureau but haven't been able to get anything done... at all. Paypal won't just make the account go back to the way it was.
I have to establish a line of credit somehow, I guess. woop woop. Fuck money.

Paypal and tickemaster both need some competition. I say we pool our resources and form some sort of nonprofit company to combat this problem.
yes, I know this isn't possible. but I'd do it if it was.

Not possible? The only things not possible in this world are peace and comfy dress shoes.
We'll use my garage as an office. Let's do this.

I'm game! We just need someone who knows about credit cards and businessy legal stuff, and somebody who knows how to make websites. And maybe a wealthy investor. It doesn't seem like the kind of company that requires a lot of money to start, though. That's the bullshit thing about paypal: all they do is take money from people. Yes, they are charging for the service that they offer, but how much can it really cost them just to transfer money? It shouldn't require any money to transfer money. I guess it has something to do with credit card companies....
Somebody figure this out. There's got to be some way to get credit card companies on board with this whole not charging people thing...

*or at least please explain why another way is not possible, because paypal really does seem like bullshit. Maybe we could still charge people, but just charge them less?

I'd love to help out with this, but I'd end up spending all the money on hookers and blow, then you guys would be mad at me.

They have at least 5 customer service people. I know. I've talked to them. They can't be paying them much, though. They don't seem happy. D :
