they are. played a show with dinosaur jr. a few months ago and all 3 stacks were on - he was ALSO using 2 twin reverbs as well. one was a fucking monitor. :wha?:

That's for fucking sure. I love how polite the warnings are. It's like "Hey, sound guy, we're FAR more important than you, so we're gonna be really loud, and you'll live with it and just turn up the vocals to match, mkay?"

every body knows those cabs are empty... speakers are replaced by fog machines!!! :lol:

all the little childrens were crying and coughing... too much smoke... waaaa... then after 35 minutes of nothing but smoke they played for 90+ minutes!!! first time i have seen sunn run out of smoke!!! :lol:

Back in the 80s there was a house band at a big local club here that had the wall of fake speaker cabs. Looked pretty cheesy, even for the 80s.

i read somewhere that zztop's bill gibbons wanted to stack up 1000 or more of those battery powered little smokey amps to play through on stage. it probably never happened, but i always thought it was kind of a cool billy idea.

Brad Paisley generally uses MAZ 18 & MAZ 38's which are what those (probably) ghost amps are.

Brad Paisley is an unreal guitar player, and his tone is impeccable.

i don't care for his tunes.
