HI, I'm Patrick (obviously). I live near Edmonton, geek out over pedals a lot, and sometimes manage to actually make a little music with them.

Hello. I am new. I am from the north of England, but I now live in the north of Scotland.

This is probably the first musician-orientated board I've ever posted on, other than local music scenes of places I have lived. Certainly the first GEAR board anyway. I've lurked for a while. I've leered at your beautiful guitars, amplifiers and pedalboards from afar for a few months.

I'm a big fan of neat effects, things that make hellish noises. I am new to feedback loopers, and I'm just having an absolute blast.

Hi.

Signed up ages ago, and lurked for a long time. I guess I should finally introduce myself and start posting. I'm a big fan of Tom Waits (as some of you can probably tell by my username :p), and I play guitar and keyboard. Currently trying to reteach myself to do some drumming (had to stop several years ago because of a wrist injury, but I need to do drums for a project I'm working on). I live in the Chicago area, I'm 20 years old, my main guitar is a modified Blacktop Jaguar tuned to B standard, and I'm currently working on a minimalist rock project (guitar + drums, or keyboard + drums on everything, all being done by me). I don't really know what else to say here, but you all seem to be pretty cool, so you'll probably get to know me as I post more. :)

Right now I only have a few acoustic demos that I made so I'll have something to reference when I start doing the actual recording. If you want, I'll upload them to my soundcloud.

Yeah if you're comfortable with sharing them I'd dig on listening.

The three demos that I've done are in there. The B riff one is basically the original idea behind the riff for "Droids" even tho I've made some changes to it. Hope you enjoy listening to them. :)

Awesome dude, "Nature Wants to Kill Me" has such a great feeling behind it. Killed by the creator.
Iunno if great is the right word, but I like it

Glad you like it! So far I'm having loads of fun with trying to write stuff for this project. Been working on writing stuff for about two weeks. Most of that has been spent on trying to figure out music, but I think it's going well. ^__^

Forgot to introduce myself after a first few posts. I'm 23 years old and I just graduated from college with an engineering degree. I have been playing guitar for a few years now and have been playing with circuits as well. I've lurked here for a while and now have an account since I have a means of accruing gear now. Looking forward to conversing with you all on the forums in the near future.

Hi, I've been lurking for a few months now and I'm a French bass player, so pardon my English. I'm currently playing in a Jesus Lizard-oriented noise band. Besides, I play some jazz/groove stuff ala Tim Lefebvre, but still waiting to find bandmates to have fun with my effects...
Here to learn a lot. And buy a lot !
