Just saw a Fender Telecaster American Designer made of oak at a store here. :love: :drool:
Humbucker at the neck, single coil at the bridge.
I wish I could.

Nah, but it could LOOK amazing. Maybe kinda heavy? I dunno, I know shit all about wood but my parents have some oak furniture that would make amazing guitar finishes though so I'd be down to try it.

I have a guitar made of oak. It's heavy. I am a little sceptical as to how much of a difference wood makes to the tone, but fwiw I like it.
