I just joined.
Mainly because I love making noise, saw some modulars (I have a Buchla modular), saw weird pedals (the weirder the better), and the DIY stuff because I want to start learning about circuits, why things work (or don't).

This is the welcome I got from one of the noisiest fuzzers on the forum. It's contains way more gravitas than anything I'd write, so welcome new dudes, and fuzz on.

That's the most important thing. We've come by with next to no moderation around here on ILF, but I believe the past year has proven we might see changes in future if spammers, haters, shitstorms, and assholes mess it for us.

Hey There ILFers... I was a long time resident over at the HC boards, but jumped ship when they jumped the shark a few months ago. I've posted on GAB since it's inception, but wanted to branch out a bit. Two fellow CT doom fans told me about this place and I figured I'd stop by and say hello!

Hello! LONG LONG LONG TIME lurker here. prob since 07-08. started joining discussions on other boards, other boards are all uptight, hc is no longer a good hangout space. i have always related to the people on these boards more, but the low post count has always stopped me in the past from being a contributor. however now with hc sucking and tgp being.. well tgp, i figured i should go to my favorite board regardless of post counts and start posting a lot. so here i am, i figured id wait tll 100 posts before an intro. that way yall can get an idea of how retarded i am.

Hey, I'm pretty new here.
Im 17 and have been playing for almost 4 years now (but wasn't really serious until 2 years ago). I have come to love guitar pedals, namely EarthQuaker Devices, and I wish I could afford more. Being a minimum wage slave at Taco Bell only gets you so far.
I'm getting a Reverend Six Gun (with the tele pickup in the bridge and a trem
) real soon an I'm super stoked for it.
I play classic rock, blues rock, blues, and a little bit harder stuff, but not too much. I'm a big fan of Black Keys stuff, old and new.

I think you guys will find the waters warm and the drinks are cold here. Good people abound and I've learned much during my short time here. My board has grown and become epic. my sound has evolved from hearing some of the very amazingly talented folks who post their music. Do check out the band, rigs, pedalboard threads.
