I know that Thorpy guy has a military background, but those pedals kinda bother me a little for some reason.

Nice enclosure design. Although, six knobs seems kinda cramped in that cage.

it'd be way  if colored pegs light up when you stick 'em in those holes on the pedal though. :D

The whole thing with "everything related somehow to it" doesn't make much sense - I know guys in the music gear business too who are vets who don't plaster it all over their products.

They're extremely conservative folks with a mostly left-leaning or more client base, but they don't hide what they are - nor do they scream "milspec genuine I was Army!" at every opportunity.

Yeah, don't get me wrong, there's nothing wrong with that if that's the way he wants to present his company.

It just makes 'em less appealing to me. Which is fine as I'm sure I'm not his intended market.

"Mil-spec." is just a probability of higher quality to me anyway.

I do like those purple chickenhead knobs he uses (on his violet Muff?).

Maybe I'm just old, but I don't feel the need to "destroy shit" anymore. :oldrant:

I'm not averse to destroying shit or military things, but...it's just not something I associate with normal, fairly tame pedals.

They may be built well, etc...but they're not sonic destroyers or the like I'd see the military-esque images as appropriate on.

I just want to understand the holes around the control face.

It's so the knobs remain well ventilated at all times. :D

Obviously so you can rivet six of them together to make a SUPERVETERAN.
