Awesome, you should take pics throughout the build!
Fun Fact: If you've never seen one in person the coils on the coily cable are about twice as big as you would expect.

After rediscovering the Ramones the last couple of weeks, I really want one of these. These are the current "official" Johnny Ramone signature guitars made by Hallmark, and I like the fact they've based it on when the pickups were still stock. Johnny still sounded good when he changed it to a DiMarzio though, which makes this my alternative:

One of these plus the correct Dimarzio FS-1 (I'd leave the neck pickup stock, it's not like Johnny ever used it anyway!), would only run to about £600
I am planning to get rid of a few of the guitars I currently have, but do not really need...
