MeSoFuzzy wrote:@AngryGoldfish- I love the way you think. This includes posts that are not related to the current topic. I'm just a hothead that's all bark and no bite. When it comes to someone wanting fight me physically, I'm one giant ass pussy. I will totally evade the situation. I laughed out loud at D.O.S.'s and Conky's posts.

Ok, this is starting to sour the ironically joyful doomroom. Back to positiveness on Doom/Drone related tings
I hate physical violence, too, and will never wish it upon anyone and will aim to never dish it out to others. I like boxing, though.

At least he isn't swindling people for merch money like the dude from Nachmysticum.
Wah?! I did not know this. I have an album of theirs. It's not my kind of thing personally, but didn't Will used to tour with them as a bassist or something like that?
Ancient Astronaught wrote:So I found the perfect drummer on craigslist, but he has one HUGE downside.... he's still in highschool... if his skills are there is it worth taking the time to perfect the music, and record an album while he finishes school and then go touring? or do you think it would be a trainwreck waiting to happen? The first serious band I joined I was about 12 years younger than the rest of the members and it worked out pretty good actually, so I don't think its that obscure, and younger people have a tendency to be able to get out more people to shows. So I dunno, am I nuts or should I give the guy a chance?
I know this is not necessarily what you want to hear, but I think it would be good for a kid his age to get involved with a mature bunch of musicians who just want to make music and perform it to fans. It could be great life experience and teach him valuable lessons. Something else to consider, I guess.

I just realised how dick-ish my llast post read.
Sorry, I just thought the broad range of topics covered was amusing and another reason why I love this joint.

Also, Chris, how's the PDX working out?

In my wife's old department at work (she's a med. scientist) they used to get the occasional limb to dissect....so that's appropriate for me.

That's true. The group hug of diversity.

I just realised that the smilies are rainbow coloured.
How appropriate for us.
