Yup and it probably went to a high profile client (like Hank III) via a bidding service.
I mean if he all ready has all of Al's other green gear why wouldn't he she'll out the big bucks for the cherry on top?

I can't see Hank dropping 12k on a slave amp.
Maybe I'd like to believe he isn't that much of a rockstar.
Hopefully it was some douchebag like Sting.

He does your in his own quarter of a million dollar your bus with close to a hundred grand in gear and sells out large clubs with ease. I don't think him dropping 12k to finish a collection of unique gear would be out of the range of possibility.

True....but part of me sort of hopes not.
Something about that is just....lame.
I guess it's better him than say, some dickbag from 30 seconds to barf or something.
I was also thinking there's a strong possibility that it was old mate from electric amps driving up the price of his own shit.

Hell thinking if it's Hank III getting it, I actually see the 12g more justified seeing how he already has just about everything else... I'd spend without limit if I have pockets that deep to get something unique. It's like all those millionaires that spend 23mil on a painting that looks like someone took a paintball gun to.

Not a Jackson Pollock fan, huh?

Oh actually I do like Pollock.. I don't like some of the immature copycats that somehow got big bucks as well. Just because I like a master doesn't mean I have to enjoy every follower that copies him/them.

Yeah dude, I'm right with you on that one.
That being said, it's back to ripping Sabbath for me....

12k is like a 10th of a real loaded dude's car. chump change. If they make 100x your income then a dollar to you is the same to a hundo of the rich man. idk how rich that dude is but if he's a millionaire that shit aint nuthin homey

Haha! I guess when Iommi woke up that day and decided to write every awesome riff known to man, he must have known rippin the sabb would be his legacy.
That acoustic does look like it has been in vacu-seal.

He awoke and the book of great riffs was there and he was told to choose only a select few... he said he will choose all of them and everyone else can carve off some crumbs.

I have at least 5 different folders of riffs labelled Generica Sabbaia.
