I have been dropping hints like crazy to my wife for one of these. I think as an awesome father I deserve a bass vi.

I'm usually not a fan of that kind of aesthetic, but that is a damn fine looking instrument. Sick that you got the 32" scale working with a five string, too :thumb:

My only gripe with the aesthetics of that line of Roscoes is the the squatty lower bout. The proportions just don't jive to my eye. I know they make a more "standard" looking model. I've played one a long time ago (Alpha Music in Virginia Beach had one) and if not for the price probably would have bought it. Great bass. Solid fit and finish.

Shep on Bass wrote:The LG does look pretty odd on a stand, but when you have it on a strap it looks 'right' against the body. That lower section being 'pulled up' means the knobs are a little closer to the pups than on some bass models too, which I like. The 'Century' is the much more conventional looking, though MUCH bigger. While the LG is a little odder it's sooooooo much smaller than most bass bodies, which for a little shorty like me is a huge bonus.

I personally didn't like the look of the LG until I saw it in person. also incredibly ergonomic

Wut? Girl you crazy. They are sexy as a mofo.

The Roscoe I have sounds amazing and it's the best sounding and playing bass I've owned. I've had a lot too. Hahaha. LOVE IT. My only gripe with the tone is when I want it to sound thinner, it's hard to do without a pedal. That's not necessarily a bad thing though. Most folks are looking to add low end, not take it away.

2006 Jag Bass. Got this in early 2007, modded the hell out of it, slapped some LaBella Jamerson flats on it in 2008 and have never looked back. Love my girl.
