Mmmmmm yeah it would be pretty tasty, probably run the Naki into the 3x15 as its 200w and that cab is 300w and run the Adamos into the 6x12 so its 300w into 390w. But at this point thats just dreaming as I have no way to get together the rest of the money to afford a Dunwich. I've emailed the guy about the Orange so we'll see what he says, if it doesn't pan out then I could sell everything except my current amps and cabs, my 7 strings, and one pedalboard and I might have enough for a Dunwich.samzadgan wrote:i would love hear that happen…i like the idea of both…but 300w…thats just more wattage for the doomage...

Pray tell, what is the criteria for doom worthy?AngryGoldfish wrote:The Blackstar amps I've tried are not Doom-worthy on their own. I imagine Matt uses plenty of pedal colouration on either a clean setting or a slightly gritty setting, at which any loud amp on the planet could be a Doom amp. The 200 watt Series One has that big low-end and piano-like sustain of a Diezel Herbert or a Soldano Avenger, but that's it.

Fuck, you guys have been busy. Trying to play catch up.
Got a fever last Friday, knocked me on my ass all week. Lost a couple of kilo to the sweats and whenever I cough there's blood in there...
Got ruled out of work for this week as well, so I watched all of series one of Vikings.
That show is cool.

Have I mentioned I'm selling my elements? Sorry to spam the thread, but I need some money bad. I got a new good job, but I won't get paid for a while and I've got zero dollars and it's stupid Christmas. It's 165 shipped conus. Pretty cheap and it rules. Someone buy it.

Haha, unfortunately it's too late for me. I'm in my 4th year, so I already passed that critical point where you can leave without feeling like you just need to see it through... but hey, if anyone needs a laser installed in their Dunwich...deathmonkey wrote:Ugh It's so true. What're you in for?new05002 wrote:4th year bro! Same here phew gotta get this phd done
Yeah I do physical chemistry, so not really mixing chemicals and that kind of thing - more working with high power ultrafast lasers and doing experiments with them. Most of my personal stories are sad stories like buying $2000 crystals and then accidentally drilling holes in them with the laser, BUT our safety inspector did tell us about when he worked for a big laser company and there was a guy working on one of the high voltage power supplies who caused it to arc into his body and his heart exploded out of his chest... so that's pretty metal...ryan summit wrote:dude barracudaBarracuda wrote:... but hey, if anyone needs a laser installed in their Dunwich...!
