dude…whats that CR120 like? I've thought about these before…how do they take pedals?
Its bastard child between an orange tube amp and an old SS sunn. Loud as ballz. And to be able to get 98% of DAT tube orange sound for under $500. That amp rocks. Doesnt take dirt the greatest but you won't need dirt with this amp. Straight in tone.

Yea I love mine. I thought it sounded pretty sweet with the firebreather fuzz I ran on it on the clean channel. Outside of that I'm not too sure. But Like Mc said that tone:
here's a vid I did of mine:

That's almost the lot of my gear, missing my bass. I'll find a snap of it somewhere.
Board is: Pitchblack--HoF--Black Forest--HM2 pre ABY, then after the ABY an MXR Micro Q--Mooer ElecLady--MM4--Marshall Echohead (always on reverse)--Peavey Mace/Boogie 412. The other ABY out goes Skreddy Paradigm Shift--Montreal Assembly NASA Attribute--ibanez echoshifter--RC-2--VH100R/412
Bass rig is Ampeg SVT-3pro--beer---Peavey 215...usually with the same dirt section as my guitar rig.
earlier I missed that link... shits nice as hell.

Which one?

Except for the Squire Jazz V on the left, they're all 7s.

Brief moment of only-matters-to-me geekery: one of the major influences of my late teenage years was an urban fantasy novel called
Gossamer Axe, which basically introduced me to everything that was going to be important for the next 20 years of my life: heavy metal guitar, Irish music and mythology, pagan religion. The book is set in ~1987, and the main character (a sixth-century Irish harper who is transplanted to 20th century Denver and takes up electric guitar as a magical weapon) plays a Laney AOR half-stack. I took a look in the chassis over the weekend, and the inspection stickers on the transformers are dated 1986 and 1987. =)
I'm guessing that you guys are geeking out over the 7-string Tele. That's a Peters Ranger, custom built in Muncie, IN for me last year. The woods are all domestic: curly white oak top and neck, chambered black walnut body, hickory fretboard. Much better photos at
http://petersinstruments.com/guitars/ranger7string.dwt. Here's a sample:

That Peters!!! Once I saw that I didn't even focus on the rest hahahaha It's like a perfect rack, there could be 4 wicked sets right next to em but you can't stop staring at that one set....

Sweet rig man, it's hard to go wrong with an AOR. I've keep buying them, selling them and buying them again myself lol, depending on when I want amp dirt and when I'm into pedals. I also dig that Peters 7 string, what a beauty! I've fallen in love with instruments made out of domestic wood lately. There's a Dismal Ax double cutaway floating around online that I want so bad, but have zero funds/justification for buying. I'd really like to incorporate some more interesting domestic wood into builds for myself in the future, I'm keeping an eye out for a good lumber connection when I go to trade shows for work.
