I think my best bet is to get an iPad, a lot of bang for the buck. That Audiobus app appears to be the gamechanger. I need/want drum machine, synths, looper, sampler, DAW and I don't want to drag a laptop around. I already have NI Maschine so I could still implement that.

I am currently ampless for the first time in the 20 years I've been playing guitar. It feels...odd. So I guess I am GASing for an amp, but not really. Played through my pedals and a Tech 21 Blonde into my four-track and headphones. Sounded shitty, but manageable for practice.

Might pick up a Tech 21 Power Engine for a grab and go thing with my pedals until I meet an amp I want and can afford. Anyone have any experience with those?
