Question about the chaise bliss audio mood - it looks so fucking cool but at almost 300+ you might as well go up to a Strymon Volante which in its own right an equally cool and complex delay.

Are both of these units equal or are they miles apart ?

this video sold me on the volante
i didnt get one because i want analog and small footprint
but the volante does the echoplex, echorec, space echo, and probably lots of other stuff, and they all sound amazing

You know this pedal really grew on me in the last couple of days. Its everything I wanted from the El Capistan that I felt was missing from the pedal and more.

But with you know Oregon on fire and all, I think I mayyyyy have to wait before purchasing anything else.

Also that Delay Lama looks to be really cool - the Random Feature is glitchy and neat :!!!:

Dude just get a DD-500 I'm sure it's analog enough for you.

This has a point. But I guess I am not deep into the delayhole enough to truly feel the difference between the emulations with some grit and a true analog delay. The strymon brigadier sound like the analog delays should sound

Also all boss pedals are fucking great. bossmann73 was right

Pt2399 is a very common chip so if you like that sound you’ve got hella options. Maybe the echo degrader or echo dream 1/2 would be up your alley. That chip gets cruuuunchyyyy at longer delay times.

I picked up Goroths little guyatone fella, ps-014. A joy. 300ms or so and oscillates, crunches and feels good man

HARVESTED FROM KARAOKE MACHINES
Only one Karaoke machine died for my ILFDD. If it had been 1000, it would have probably been a community service.

As many builders have discovered, the artifacts do have their own specific coolness. It’s like an old misbiased MXR delay I have—the thing is as elegantly designed as you could dream to make a BBD sound clean, but I adore the unique chaos and would have moved it on years ago if it sounded normal.
