I definitely see this as a pattern here and elsewhere. But it looks like negotiations have broken down either way, as echorec hasn't taken well to prodding and antagonism. Nah I got what you were after. No arguing here. I really think that people are losing their shit in real life, and it manifests in bizarre choices all over the place (ILF included). There's less good-natured ribbing and more AAARgh PRoVE to ME wheRE MY LOGIC was OFF as a general tenor. This place is only interesting because it's a community, and sometimes that has its drawbacks, I guess.

NYC looks like it's going to be the first place to bring Weinstein to court. Building a rape case. So many actors have come forward as victims of harassment. This is disgusting. Obviously I don't think there is ever a 'good' reason for this but I'm especially bothered that in the case of the harassment charges, the currency for power was 'movies'.

I wonder what is next for the victims? So many lives ruined. I know a lot of the actors have been living with significant trauma for years but still, now it's in the public eye and that's never a great place to be.

In other news, yet another shooting here in USA yesterday.
