i'm not dissing boutique pedals my friend. if i ever see Bradford again, i'll definitely be biggin' up Devi Ever pedals.

you'll have to demonstrate where i "continuously" dissed boutique gear: i am not against boutique pedals. rest assured--

but alas. i think certain people on the INTERNET call this "trolling." i would just chalk it up as that. & not waste anymore time worrying about it...

Sorry. :idk:

Although did you not diss Aen's new pedal and then edit your post so that no one could see it?

I'm pretty sure it's a circuit bent toy. I've seen that pikachu before with the same knob and contact points.

no need to apologize. i have a thick skin & i know that Canadians are extremely well-mannered. anyway. the ORIGINAL post i think was posi. like a joy emoticon or something. :joy:

the EDITED post is seemingly snarky but i was really obliquely referencing something else: you know. like now i was going to have to start buying boring pedals instead of really cool pedals that do interesting shit. do you get what i'm saying???

bubstance wrote:Yes, he did. He's one of the people who is all sore because Aen called him a little bit creepy after he posted in every thread related to Dwarfcraft that Aen was a genius. Not a bad offense, in and of itself (I've said repeatedly that I love everything Dwarfcraft), but dude, there's no need to go and edit every post you've ever made in a Dwarfcraft thread and post a picture of a Tubescreamer. You don't need to go around and "switch sides" and start loving Devi, just love all the builders here for what they are. Just don't go around in every thread talking about how genius they are, alright?

And seriously, this is the internet, in an open forum. Just deal with the fact that certain things come off differently when there's no inflection, and that people opinions differ.

have you read this interview ??? becuz that was what i was referencing w/ respect to the Tubescreamer. & i totally agree w/ it. i am not pro all-boutique pedal boards. or boutique for boutique sake. i have to plead guilty to that but i like a functional, utilitarian mix. other people don't. to each her own...

i think the "genius" thing was triggered when i happened to read on one of those schematic forums that the Wolf Computer was inspired by XXXXXX XXXXXXX & what Zvex did w/ the Fuzz Factory. kind of like a connecting the dots thing you know. like when you have a Eureka moment. nothing more. i never switched sides. that's absurd.

but i do agree w/ your point & i will not be "genius" cheerleadering anymore or even becoming irrationally enthusiastic. that's done. i don't think i've even done that lately. to be honest.

anyway. i do not want to diverge any further from the actual topic anymore. there is common ground here my friends. let's us move forward...

peace.

Bump, and link to Frank Zappa's stuff in case you're to lazy to use the search function.
