Honestly, all the drama around the Devi Ever stuff makes me sad.

The OG Devi's were my first exposure to the weird side of guitar pedals. The strangeness and mystery of it sucked me in when I was 13ish. The ones that have come out recently have been dope too, I just really wish the drama/devi's freak out never happened and everything stayed awesome.

Devi, I hope you're well, and I don't what to be at odds with you. But what I've seen of this thread is fair game, considering the history. Gotta expect that, right? And your post doesn't invite any goodwill.

I'll ask around, or we'll do a Larry the Lobster poll, but personally, I think you should pay everyone back before you market your pedals here. The thing is, I'd ban someone if they took even $10 from one user and never refunded them. It'd be hypocritical of me to welcome you to advertise your pedals here when wrongs haven't been righted. Also, if you're in breach of contract, please don't post about your pedals here.

Yo Tom, I see your point but in all fairness, Devi did not start this thread. She has not posted about her pedals nor her new company, and her signature has no links in it. Everyone else is posting about it. Since she has joined us again there is not one post of her trying to push her pedals upon us. And if I entered this thread and it was about me, I would have responded similarly.

While it is early to say, her presence so far is just mildly amusing as opposed to "hey guys im back to take over ilf." I hate playing defendant but I think we should be aware we started the conversation about her pedals not her.

Devi the person is welcome here. Though until last week, she hadn't gone by the name Devi Ever (at least online) for a long time...so I assume this is an intentional decision, for publicity in the ramp up to (R)E13, or maybe just to flout her agreement with Dwarfcraft. But assumptions aside, I think I'm on solid footing; anyone who takes money from ILFers, reneges and doesn't refund, shouldn't come back around to promote more things. Unless they make things right.

So she can hang out and post all she wants, as long as she's willing to face the legitimate concerns and criticism many ILFers have. Until everyone gets their money back, I don't want ILF to play a role in more people losing their money. And if Devi wants to risk breaching a contract, she can do that, but she can't do it here.
