Well I guess Ian's package arrived already!

Just bumping this thread because I totally forgot to mention I don't eat cheese or anything remotely with cheese at all, can't stand the smell or taste of it, sorry Santa, I hope you didn't go all nuts on buying cheese and stuff...

If your SS planned on sending you cheese in the first place I'd more worried about what the other gifts might be.

No, I just wouldn't eat cheese that's been exposed to room temperature for several days/weeks.

Ughh..I didn't even think about that. I mean, I like cheese, and not in that snobby connoisseur way, the "lemme buy that 5lb block of hunter's sharp cheddar and gnaw on it until my mouth starts to bleed" way, but warm cheese is almost as bad as yogurt.

Someone not liking cheese is just a weird foreign concept to me. I think I have a better grasp on a concept of the 5th dimension than I do of the the thought of not enjoying cheese

But that's probably a good thing for you, cheese is not really a necessary or particularly healthy food.

Cheese is both necessary and healthy. It's just got a lot of fat which you've gotta be aware of, but it's a nutritionally dense food.
And fat makes stuff taste awesomer, so yeah. Cheese.

I just meant that you could easily live without eating any cheese. I eat more cheese than probably any other type of food and that's pretty fucking horrible for me, it's so addictive.

But yes it's not void of nutritional value, it's just hard to exercise moderation.

So obviously if my SS sends me cheese I will gladly devour it in a day or two.

I was considering putting cheese in my package but I was worried it wouldn't travel well, so swapped for sweets.

Better. You guys get your asses over here and I'll have you try cheese that actually has a taste. It is best served with real bread (understand French bread) and real wine (understand French wine) and after having stuffed your belly with the best kind of saucisse sèche (understand French one).
This is LIFE.

Americans have never even had cheese. I mean, really. It's illegal for them to get aged unpasteurized/raw-milk cheese. Those poor souls
