I'm glad to see the uncertainty of the predicted box score is psyching you out enough to post about it, though.

Hahaha! I mean, projections really don't mean much. Last week I was projected in my other league to win by a landslid, but lost by 60 points because three of my best player got injured during play!
I just don't want it to be unfair. I know sometimes people don't realize their players are on bye.
... Did you realize your defense was on a bye? :surprise:
Only reason you won too. It would have been a tie. Never had that happen. Tried to do a waiver, but it got approved too late.
But yes, I knew they were on bye. Didn't want to drop them.

I will admit this is what I don't like about waiver bidding. I think after the bidding goes through an hour before kickoff we should be able to pick up any free agents without bidding.

At ESPN you either have to have waiver runs at certain times, or just a free agent free-for-all at all times. I know that other sites allow different options, like CBS where my other leagues are, but that's not a free site.

So there's no way to change when waivers go through? I waited until 11 today when it said my waiver would go through, it didn't and came back to check it after church and it went through, but the teams in play so no use. This is the most annoying waiver system ever. Why would waivers be approved on a Sunday? It makes no sense.

Waivers process on Monday, Thursday and Sunday at 12 PM Eastern time. I can change when they occur, but I figured one for each gameday of the week, an hour before kickoff just in case people need to scramble for a sub if someone's announced inactive.

Personally I'd prefer waivers to be on non game days, but that's just me. Usually you can tell what's going to happen from the practices to see if someone is IA, but that's not always the case. Shit I've got 3 IA on my roster in my other league.
Just frustrates me because I feel so lost on ESPN and I've been without a defense two weeks now because I don't understand the waiver system.
oh well

So here's my other issue. Why was my waiver not approved at 11am? I'm extremely confused? It said 11 am, I waited, and it didn't get approved.

It shows on the "League Activitiy" page that you were awarded the Steelers D at 12:01 PM EST.

I'm mad at myself for having such a hard time navigating espn. I think I'm just slightly stupid. Hahaha

Thought I had a chance after the early games, but MEC pretty soundly crushed me. At least the excellent day from Forte led to a Bears victory in real life.

Of course Cam Newton finally goes off, and he's sitting on my fucking bench. That cost me the matchup. Goddamn it.
