Instead he took out his chainsaw and cut your chain link fence to shreds. Him and that dog, that's the FY-2

Yours rips a lot harder than the Shin Ei I used to have. My Dirge FY-2 shat all over it. Yours sounds good though, FY-2 has to be one of my favorite fuzz circuits

Thanks for the encouragement in your earlier post, glad you are diggin the video's.
It's always a crap shoot with vintage gear, especially if you've never heard one before and you come across one in a store. Probably still sounds good, but does it sound right?
I like the FY-2 alot as well, and tend to use it a lot for textural counterpoint.

Ahhhhh the sweet sweet tones of the Mosrite Fuzzrite. Just dirty, no clean tones to be found. As legend goes, and you know how legends go, this led to the big muff pi.

and to this video.

Well now looky at the Guild Foxey Lady, what we have here, according to those whose job it is to accord, is the pedal that bridged the gap between the Mosrite Fuzzrite and the birth of the Electro Harmonix Big Muff Pi. It has a more aggressive fuzz than the mosrite, and not as much sustain as a big muff. other differences abound, but for now this is one cooool pedal  .
Enjoy :joy:

Ah, I'm a huge fan of the Fuzzrite as well! Never owned an original butI do have a DAM FR-70 clone which I believe is based on the Fuzzrite.

With my FY-2 right now I'm running it into my dirt blender. My main channel is an Eau Claire Thunder for the heavy, sludgey stuff, then I mix in some Fuzzhuggers and the FY-2 to add some cool fuzzy overtones.

That sounds mighty coool. Is your dirt blender a two channel parallel looper? Love to hear some clips
Never owned a russian big muff, always preferred my rams head. but I do really really like my Eau Claire Thunder, so I guess I'll never need to find a russian big muff  . I just can't get enough of the internal feedback looper it has. Soooo much fun and such a versatile pedal.

Ahhhhhh at last, the Red Panda particle. Its a box full of wonder and excitement and everything I've hooked up to it has come out sounding amazing. So what's it do? I don't know, still haven't read the manual but have gotten used to turning its knobs so that's got to count for something. Does some pitch shifting, and it does some delay. Anyways, heres a quick vid of a looped guitar part while I go through the modes and twiddle them knobs. Maybe you're already familiar and will realize how hopelessly lost I am with this pedal, or maybe you've never heard of it before and you'll dig some of the sounds it can make. And maybe i'm just talking to myself.

Enjoy :joy:

It's a Wounded Paw Effects Blender V3, 3 parallel loops with a clean blend and two band EQ. Yeah I've had the ECT for 3 years now and it is still my go-to fuzz.

You've also given me a lot of GAS for that Particle

Just when I thought I was good with my delay I buy a Memory Lane 2 and try to sell my other 3 delays for a Particle

Particle demo is fun! The loop through it sounds just like how I use the pedal really, I find an awesome setting and play the same riff for like half an hour!

Wounded Paw sounds useful  Every Dwarfcraft pedal i've played or owned has been amazing, I think i read once that the ect won pedal of the year award or something...? i don't know how that whole awards thing operates, but thats still pretty cool! It's fully loaded with kick ass for sure.

The particle  i always just want to put it in the chain, anywhere. Or just play with it on its own. I don't see this thing getting old ever. I swear every thread on here gives me GAS for something

I hear ya, its incredible how just a very minor tweak can transform everything. I think i'm pretty certain that i'm only scratching the surface of what the knobs can do, going to get real interesting when I start using it in a musical context. In my mind I can already hear entire songs composed with the particle on multiple tracks. SO glad I picked one up.

4ms......indeed. The Noise Swash in particular. What we have here is chaos in a box, looped chaos in particular. There are a lot of knobs, and no owner's manual, but I'm starting to get the hang of it. I;ve mostly been usign it inside an f/x loop adding aggressive textures. Here it is knobs all a twistin. put the lfo out from the goatkeeper into the noise swash cv in.
hope you like. :)

Here we take a guitar into a bit crusher, into the noise swash, into the tri-phaseur, into the granular delay/pitch shifter. hook em up via CV, and what comes out? Well let's find out :joy:

DAM. They sure do make a nice looking and sounding pedal, clone. Here we've got their repro of a dick denny design from the sixties, that he produced in the early nineties. he's responsible for the vox ac30 by the way. this fuzz sounds soooo goood. super smooth sounding but you can also hear the crunchy fuzzy innards. has 2 si transistors but sounds nice and smooth and warm and i just wanna cuddle up inside its tone.
