that's why the Avengers was so good. they'd already done all those back story movies. they just started with the characters DOING THINGS THAT MATTERED.

i hated avengers. i couldnt get past the fact that they insisted on travelling in a flying battleship with obvious design flaws. one being that it was a battleship.....that flew. 3/4 of that movie was them crashing. i went in so psyched, and left very meh.

i agree about the back story part, we dont need reboots every other year, yet we keep shelling out the cash.

i likededed that 'un a lot. made me laugh a bunch, my favorite Hulk so far in movies... yahp.

I love superhero movies too. I just wanted the airship to fly and kick ass, not have equipment malfunctions the whole time. Sorry for derailing all the affleck hate

huh. that's an odd project. i remember reading about that. i'm surprised they're going through with it. could be good, could be horrrrrrrrible.

I've never really cared about him in the like or dislike direction. He is pretty big-time now though, like him or not. That's why I think it's cool that he chose an obscure, oddball sort of character, when if he wanted to he could be doing X-Men or Avengers, or even *gasp* Batman. He could tell Disney he wanted to play the Black Panther right now and they would find a way, you know, because Hollywood.

I hope it's not too terrible, but I can't imagine how it will be very good. There's no way it will be able to do justice to the last several years of Guardians/Nova/Annihilation/etc comics, but there are some cool characters to look forward to, at least - Thanos, Groot, Nova Corps, and hopefully some other cameos from the outer space branch of marvel. They still have yet to do Galactus properly...

I hope Cosmo (the telepathic russian space dog) is in the movie. He lives in the severed head of a dead Celestial (Knowhere).

I think they are working their way towards some sort of movie version of the Infinity Gauntlet, but it probably won't start taking shape for several years. Thanos is going to be around for a long time.
