I initially was getting this to get rid of my rainbow machine but I can't. Different beast entirely. Al my setting with the rm can't be matched enough for me to do it. Using the gb24 for what it does and the rm like I have been.

Interesting, I thought they were quite similar, even though I did not have them at the same time. I had already sold the RM for at least a year when I got the GB24. But it always struck me as similar stuff.

Well there is similar stuff that can happen but I feel like the methods to get their are way different. If the two combined id be happy.

yeah I used to have a bunch of settings I loved but I guess I threw them away or lost them after selling it.
I'll get one back. there was some cool spaceship and vortex sounds I had going on. if it was cheaper...

Quality takes tiiiiiiime.
From the demos I've seen of the GB24 (since I've yet to get my greasy paws on one) it seems it can do some of the crazier things the Rainbow Machine can, but often it's the subtler chorusy settings I like out of the Rainbow Machine. Not that I don't like some crazy. Using my Randy's Revenge CV into the Rainbow machine expression control is loads of fun. Even if they cross some similiar territory it seems like they're different enough to warrant having both if you're into those sorts of sounds.

true, the subtle sounds were rad but too pricey for me when I have the other pedals to do those sounds. The wild sounds were cool but got old I thought, while the GB24 has loads of character. Very unique. If the Particle had a Feedback footswitch I'd probably go that route as a companion.

Everything should have a feedback footswitch

Pretty sure that Randy's Revenge will do vastly different things than the GB24
I don't own a GB24 (yet) so I don't know if it can cover the same ground as the RR but I do have a RR and I love it
