thanks for all that fuzzy love folks.
there's no denying that building this guitar has made me very happy and reports from it's first gig ( Esplanade front bar here in Melbourne ) are v good.
i really appreciate that you guys are picking out some of my favourite features of this thing in your comments.
i make few enough guitars that each one has to look slick and then i share it out there in the world and the photos are promotion for the next batch ( hopefully virally shared photos of these guitars with my website address intact speak for themselves without too much explaining )
i'm starting the next batch now.
should pick up the milled 6061 neck stock from the engineering works tomorrow.
my guy mills my neck blanks in between building those giant aluminium fans that go into mine shafts.
FYI my turnaround times are officially blowing out to 5-6 months - typically a lot of that time is in dealing with third party welders & engineers and then time slows down to a truly science fiction extent in my paint booth.
cheers,
AP

They're truly works of art AP, you've taken something that is so out of the ordinary and not very well explored, and given it a modern useful twist that just makes everything seem like the guitars of the past except with YOUR OWN flavor, along with reliability, which is key!
