Not a big deal really but its fine for a few hours and then poof. I go in to control panel and it says i dont have one. It will tell you if its the wrong size when you try to upload. But thats not it. I have a 160x160 and it uploads and saves it fine. It works for a few hours, then it gets deleted. No one else is having this problem, grind is missing his poptart cat but im not sure if thats intentional. Anyone else see his avatar?

Avatars often disappear on ILF for no reason.
But now that you've drawn attention to it...I don't like looking at it any more than I liked looking at your creepy baby avatar.

Honestly, you guys are making a huge deal out of nothing.
In my opinion, all spaceritual was just a troll.

I see a lot of avatars go on and off... you are waiting intill the page fully loads after you hit submit before move on, right?

Okay, now it's just turning me on. Which is also, still, creeping me out.

Yeah, avatars come, avatars go. I don't know why it happens on ILF, but I assume pics packed into small size Kb wise are more stable.

What bugs me is that my posts, too, have been disappearing ever now and then, as I pointed to Spacey. It's been happening for some weeks now, but ...I don't know, maybe I should just drink more and try to pay attention posting before the connection to ILF throws me out. It's been a little demotivating lately, but still its not a big deal. One should probably write on a text editor and then copy paste the shit here.

okay...

well among the trolls I've seen on the underground black metal and band forums and here, Spacey was a riot. Usually the trolls seem to be just abrasive assholes but hardly ever as entertaining as Spacey was. Most of the time.

and this is why i said what i did initially about the moderating aspect of the Spaceritual situation. i'll add now the obvious: that because someone indulged in some Happy Fun Moderating, now when something happens like a disappearing post or a waffly avatar, even if those occurrences may be explained by reasonable technical problems, folks are going to suspect/expect that somebody's fucking with them behind their back. was it worth it? really? two minutes of lulz = probably months of suspicion and division. nice job!

Yeah and Troy Sanders is still here so it hardly accomplished anything.

nah, first of all the tech problems are nothing short of typical to forums and secondly,

EVERYBODY should check his shit and think back if thinking his avatar, postings and shit. Perhaps its just paranoia, nothing worth of tactical ninja mod strike.
Then again IF they are, one could perhaps just commit harakiri?

We could all try not being crazy. It'll be extra easy without spacey here.

No one should suspect foul play just because wonky shit happens with your posts. Just ask yourself, "Am I a douche-y attention whoring troll?" If not, then it's something technical.

Not everyone is absolutely stupid.
You'll have a valid point when people's posts getting edited becomes a regular thing. ILF has had a few technical problems lately, which would definitely explain a few things missing. It's happened before, and it happens on other forums.
Also, look at the forum you're on. Even major, personal arguments don't get modded until it gets -really- bad. People are usually saying "Will someone just lock this thread?!" a -long- time before they get locked-- if they even get locked. The only time posts are edited by mods is if they contain genital mutilation, as far as I can tell.
It's seriously asinine to assume that because one mod did something kinda shitty (although pretty mild, really) that every little technical issue is worthy of suspicion.
