intothegroove is an asshole. He negociated with me for hours, for something I was not even officialy selling, saying he had cash in hands and was ready to paypal me and when he finally convinced me and was waiting for his paypal he disappeared for 24 hours and just warned me he had decided to buy something else. He's a time waster, avoid him.
This doesn't look super great for you Mr. intothegroove.
You might have been screwed over, it's impossible for any of to really know what happened, but this is kind of a blow against you and your word ya know.
Oh ya and I forgot to mention,askthedust didn't bother to say that I sent him a PM apologizing not long after I left the deal with him,thanks bud

This is just scandalous, no matter how you slice it. Obviously, it was a known fact the pedal was fucked up before he sold it to you. Not the first time someone was screwed on a CL deal, won't be the last.
Ya I know,it's just that I trusted him so much because he has been a ILF member for so long,I thought he was a really good guy,honestly if he had told me about the condition and said to me, look man,it's not totally working but if you message the builder he can fix it" I probably still would have bought it,just not as much I would have payed for it,you know? it's really "funny" how how this affair has been "medialized"
when you think about it, it's the same shit you see on mass media these days... someone comes and puts on a massive smear campaign against someone else... he feeds the campain with accusations and strong words, he get's a lot of people on his side
But then the other side responds.... and things don't seem that black and white anymore, huh? and how are we supposed to deal with it?
i've been watching this thread from the beginning and i'm going to continue... i refuse to take any sides now

Yeah, this. I've been away from everything for a while for reasons of my own. I came back because a few caring people told me about this slanderous thread and they thought that I should defend myself. At first I thought "screw it, it's just a message board" but the fact is that ILF has been my home in a lot of ways for quite a while now. I care what happens on this board and I care about what a certain few of you think of me on a personal level. I don't really give a crap what intothegroove thinks of me because he is mis-representing himself and this entire situation with his unreasonable eternal victim attitude.
I've said all that I can in this thread to my defense. At this point, anybody that has already judged me will continue to judge me. I accept this and will carry the burden. Those that know me a little better might have been a little less quick to jump to an unfair conclusion and I hope that we can continue our relationships, even though they may now feel a little strained. When things settle down a bit for me, you guys might see me around here again on a more regular basis... until then,
ILF FOR INTERGALACTIC PRESIDENT!!

All I know is this: Elbandito offered to let me borrow a pedal when I sent mine to get modded. He asked nothing in return. He didn't even say anything to me about paying the shipping of it(to me,I'd pay the return shipping,obviously). Why would a dicksmokin' scumfuck offer to do that? Can't make the "turds of a feather" argument,because I don't smoke dicks,nor do I fuck scum,lol. The fact that Elban showed up here speaks volumes,I think. Can we get a mod or 2 in here?
