Can anyone school me on the mobius? I kinda want a rotary used the track, but if the lex is on the mobius anyhow, it might be better for mywwallet to grab a used mobius, yes?

Grind dudes, I just put out a split 7" that you might be interested in. Also, those Shroud Eater preorders are going fast. Might wanna get in on that soon if you want a copy.

I went to The Guitar Store last night to check out the new location. I saw an Ampeg GVT15H and commented that they're pretty cool. He mentioned they were discontinued and I said I was bummed that I couldn't afford one while they were around. He said I could trade two pedals for one. SO I DID IT. Holy shit! I still haven;t really cranked it yet because it was hella late last night when I finally got home and I've been busy all morning and still got a couple hours ahead of me. I can't wait!

Nice score on the Ampeg! Sam Ash is gonna be selling the 5w version of the head for $99 on Black Friday. I am considering trying to get one, although getting past mall traffic on the way there will be interesting.

Hey dudes with copies of Clean, does your copy sound too fast and like butt (Conky I know yours did and a couple others did) and have you inquired with Brutal Panda about it? I just listened to mine and it is pretty bad. Wondering if Brutal Panda messed up the press and will make it right.

i think thats gonna stay on the low end of the guit rig
and the new randall is gonna live on the peavey 612
if we play shows at some point ill combine forces
but playin guitar through a 300w ss bass amp in my basement
dont seem like a good way to get to know the neighbors

So I started playing bass with an instrumental doom band. They play in Drop F which I am fully into, my Samick P Bass copy is not cutting it and I kind of want a new bass. I may just need a good set up, but in the chance that this bass blows for F tuning can anybody recommend a decent sub 500$ 4 string? I don't like 5 strings at all.
Also I just bought a Deluxe Bass Big Muff, I think it's going to rule on guitar...crossover control.

I've been fond of my buddy's Ibanez ATK for the longest time. Sounded pretty good in A last time we tried that. I'm starting to warm up to his Peavey T-40, which has several interesting sounds as well. Unfortunately, it weighs a metric shit ton and the neck is baseball bat esque. But I could deal with the neck and I didn't wear the bass long enough for the weigh to bug me. Worth a look I think.

Nice man…i was very close to buying one of those earlier this year. from all the clips i've heard they seem really nice and could be a good pedal platform. Let us know what you think when you've given her a good going over.

I emailed them and they said that there was nothing with the records and that they were sped up 5 bpm so that they would fit at 45rpm. When I asked why they didn't just run it at 33 and leave the songs the same tempo and why my record has no low end they didn't reply. I waited a few days and asked what they were gonna do about my shitty sounding record and they never replied again. I know what label I won't be buying anymore merch from from now on. Fuck those guys right up their asses with a jackhammer.

That's ridiculous. I'm gonna email them as well. Hopefully they get the message if more and more of us complain. It sounds downright bad. Not good, bad, I say.

F below E, I assume?
You should PM ILF'er Mudfuzz--he's got a couple of super-detuned basses IIRC.

you've got to be fucking kidding? what kind of shit is that? i can't believe a band would let that slide. what's so important about having it at 45 anyway? and guess what happens when you try and cram too much music onto vinyl? it sounds like shit. i would just be so pissed, as a band, as a fan, whatever. this actually makes me lose some respect for the label for sure.

Also, I just read about the 45 rpm thing. Was kind of what I suspected earlier in the thread, but why would you press it at 45 as it was such a short record anyway. Is it a 10" or something?
