I seriously doubt what you're describing is an amp volume issue.

I mean, it might be. But I don't think so.

What're the settings on your muff pedal?

Ah. Missed that bit.

I know someone suggested swapping out preamp tubes... dunno if you have any on hand to roll with or not.

Yeah it does sound like an amp volume issue. I've got a Verellen that stays completely clean until it's dimed, and then it feedbacks unless you hold the strings like you said

I'd say its a pickup issue, or does it change when you switch guitars and plug straight into the amp too?

Definitely watch that Monster Squad when you get a minute Popemeister. I never saw it until a couple weeks ago and it rules pretty hard.

I went to The Guitar Store last night to check out the new location. I saw an Ampeg GVT15H and commented that they're pretty cool. He mentioned they were discontinued and I said I was bummed that I couldn't afford one while they were around. He said I could trade two pedals for one. SO I DID IT. Holy shit! I still haven;t really cranked it yet because it was hella late last night when I finally got home and I've been busy all morning and still got a couple hours ahead of me. I can't wait!

MAKE ME.

No, I joke. Been busy as shit recently, new job that sucks up literally all of my time, and the rest of my time is spent trying to visit my girlfriend who I'm long distance with now.

Sold my Orange, my Les Paul and my Strat, and got a Twin Reverb to experiment with. I don't think it's going that well to be honest....
