Don't you just hate that? I ran out of solder for the first time yesterday...of all the things

I've been out of solder for almost a week. I've been using little beads of solder I can find by my workstation.

^ that IS hawt.

I'm sure you've been asked this like a million times... But why do you use a resistor for the bypass signal part of the 3PDT? Does it make any sound difference? Also, what value resistors do you usually use for that? I want to try it. It looks neater than a little wire.

Correct.

I don't notice any sound difference and only use them because, as you said, I think they look neater.

Yea, it's a zero ohm resister. Nothing there but a shell. Lots of people use them 'cause they're cleaner; especially in point to point type builds.

Nice! How did you mount the LED? glue?
Isn't the babylon fuzz just a variation of two electra-distotions in series (with other resistor values and stuff)? I think I have seen the schematic once.. or am I wrong on that one? :idk:

Two plain npn amps with a 4n7 in the middle. Diodes on the out before the volume

Nice. Talk to me about the 3PDT circuit boards. Are those something you sourced or something you made? Looks like an elegant solution to wiring up TBP.

I dont think they save any time but they do cost money and they make it impossible to repair or change anything.

Fair Point.
