I think it's silly if you don't have a use for 6 12" speakers, but if you can use them all at once and WANT to use them all at once go for it.

yah. i actually...... don't know shit about most amps or speakers or basses. i'm lucky where i found a speaker i really like in the Aggie GS12's, a preamp i adore in the Rusty Box and a bass that i'd kill kittens and sell their souls to Kitten Satan if i had to to keep in the Dingwall without buying through a buncha stuff.

i think i do need that many. i use the 212 cab for live and practice stuff now, want to pair the 2 112 cabs with that for a split setup thinger. then i have a 112 at home now and would need a second one to run dual thingie dingies at home too. i'm using a crappy Ampeg combo now for my second board.

i'm just...... such a freak about repeatable results. it feels weird to spend loads of time at home trying to get toanz i want to live inside and then have to tweak them to sound the same on a different cab/setup....... yeah.

YEAH. now i loooooooooooooook.

ew. one pillow FTW.

DOOD. Same here.

I've had 4 Mesa 4x10's, 4 SWR 4x10's, the list goes on for using a LOT of the same cabs. I very rarely ever mixed them, because once I found that sound that I loved, I just wanted "more" of it - hence more cones to move more air.

DO EET.

i really like that cab. is it silly to have a bunch of the same one instead of trying different cabs?

No such thing as too many cabs and getting the same one makes sense for your nonsensical ways.

OOOOOOOH yeah. I kinda wanted to just have it shipped straight to him. I've been wanting a Dann design for a while.....but my other pedals are all good looking. This thing is my grand winner. Heading to him pretty much as soon as it gets in.

What kind of amp do you guys usually run your synthesizers through? I've decided on a...glorious synth, but I'm thinking my guitar amps probably aren't the best things to run it through. Any suggestions are welcome. Also, pics incoming as soon as it arrives (hopefully this week).

I still want a Moog Ring Mod... And I found a VanAmps Reverbamate for about $100 less than usual. I've always wanted real spring reverb to kick around. Fuck. I don't want to buy anything else until the guitar is paid off.
