I finally have the ability to purchase something for myself, and something really nice!
I'm thinking about a Prophet '08 because my analog synth GAS has been really huge, but I'm not sure yet. I'm looking to spend around $2k or less, and my brain is trying a ton of combinations of gear to feel satisfied after making such a large purchase.
I think I'm either going to go for some necessities + wants (studio monitors, audio interface, microphone + Minitaur, Moog Delay) OR one big-ass machine (Prophet '08, Tempest, Mopho X4 + Moog Delay, etc.)...
Choices, choices, choices.

Figured out my sunn 2x15 was wired at 16 ohms instead of four. And fixed it. And also fixed an identical cab. Oh my god so loud now.

MuseMuseMuseMUSE - i still have a Motu 828 MK II firewire i'd give you ZE DEALZ on. or i could probably be talked out of my backup Native Instruments Komplete 6 interface if you're looking for smaller.
FUCK. tracking number Prymaxe sent said my PT Jr should have shown up today, it didna. website now says it just got processed through the local sort facility...... waiting on Soni's Micro Sampler showed me that means it's a day or two away. which kinda sucks ass. 'cause that means Monday or what...... Wednesday? do they even deliver mail on Xmas Eve? it's not a HUGE thing, 'cause i don't have to go any place out of my house to do music until my drummer boy gets back after New Year's. but still. i wanted to have stuff SORTED. just got the rest of my work bonus so i'm gonna be able to drop cashes on Shishy for the Mobius, when that hits everything is pretty much sorted for me.
'cept i'm gonna order a Peavey IPR1600 to use live and bring my heavy as six Samoan butts amp home next week and look for a used Aggy GS112 locally so i can have the same duo amp rig at home as practice.

There was an update today on a non-pedal thing we're shipping. Apparently the train it's on has run into problems in Rome, Italy.
We sent it to Washington state

Lot of my shit has been held up too. Was expecting 2 boxes in by Thursday, now it won't get here until Mon or Tues. Was hoping to go to the studio today or tomorrow for a demo.

i........ want another Aggy GS112. that'll make 4 GS112's and a GS212. is that too many?
i really like that cab. is it silly to have a bunch of the same one instead of trying different cabs?

Nothing wrong with going with what you like....
Sometimes I look around and my shit, and think "is it enough?"
then I see what other ppl are running and crazy boards....
"It's not enough...more more MOAR"
