Awesome basement man, that oozes potential. I wish my house had a basement. seems like its the norm to not build one out here.

Same here for Georgia. First time I ever saw a basement was when I toured up to Philly. Played two basement shows in one night and they were the best shows ever.

Check out my buddies in Rites new album. We're playing with them Friday which looks likely to be their last gig.

as an owner of an ad140 AND a 2203 I would do it in a heartbeat.

louder then fuck has a very very nice volume knob. its super linier and tapers nice and slow until 7 then from 7 - 10 it goes from "loud" to "oh my FUCKIN GAAAWD"
Somehow missed this post. I love my 2204, so if it doesn't happen I won't be bummed at all. I can't really find any videos online that show the heavies on it though.

Just an FYI Frank, (communarchy, aka the guy with the AD140), is the guy who bought my HiWatt hes a straight up dude and definitely more than fair. So if you do decide to do it I can vouch for him.

I'm jealous man, if I had basement it would already be converted into iso rooms for recording. I just have the smallest bedroom in our house converted into a mixing room, with my smallest rigs setup for quick demo tracking. I'm in just getting ready to convert our garage into a wood shop right now, so I don't have to go down to my work in cracktown every time I want to make something.

I don't know how "heavy" you're looking to get, but every time I've seen Dead Meadow Jason Simon has used an AD140 to glorious effect.

the ad140 is electrically closer to a Marshall or Fender then any OR unit. Long tail pair phase inverter, FMV EQ (plate driven). Gain stages with Fender style biasing. Post phase inverter style master volumes.
