just out of curiousity, what did you search for on GC? I can never find ss/bs stuff on there?

I didn't search specifically for ss/bs just got lucky. GC's search engine sucks so I just set it to what price range I'm looking for.

The sad part is that if GC sold it for $80 they probably only gave the dude $40.

The trick with GC used is knowing that they have no standard category for effects pedals, so you can search for "fuzz" and end up with results in

Footswitches
Volume Pedals
Accessories
Miscellaneous

And two other categories, I forget what they are. It's all keyed in manually by employees so there is a lot of room for error.

Basically a good trick I have used is to search for Just Arrived and Price Drop items in certain categories, within a given price range. You also end up with misspelled items that way, so if you search for Catalinbread, for example, you may miss their "Catalinbred" or "Catlinbread" listings. But keyword searches still work too.

Been thinking about gear. I think my next haul will be a combination of...

A mixer (~4ish inputs).
Arturia Minibrute.
A microphone.
Some monitors.
Some goddamn Moogerfoogers (feeling the delay, maybe the LPF).
That Koma Electronic CV light sensor controller thingy.

All I need is some (read: a metric shit ton of) moolah.

Was thinking about making a matrix mixer today to use with Moogs. But then I realized I only have one and again, I want a Moog Ring Mod

lol. just went to the sorting facility. where the USPS site says it's at is Richmond Sorting Hub, that's a different place then where i went yesterday and today. apparently loads of mail gets sorted there, then sent out to where i went to be loaded onto mail carriers. so it hasn't hit THAT step yet, so it'll probably be a few more days.

which is fine. i just would have liked it if they explained that instead of telling me to come back today when i went there yesterday. silly fuckers.
