Because i know that EHX pedals are tip-negative, and aren't most pedals tip-positive?
Yes, they do, and most pedals are center-negative.
I plug my 1-spot into my EHX XO Stereo Electric Mistress directly, and I use a little adapter guy for my Small Stone. I used to plug direct into my Hazarai back when I had it.

They work fine on a 1spot. At one point, I was running a Stereo Mistress and a Germanium OD along with a few other pedals on a 1spot together. The Boss standard is a center-negative barrel adaptor, which the XO pedals are also. Some of the other EHX pedals were a tip-positive 1/8" adapter, but no more.

I, for one, would love to see this...

Here's my humble little set up. Can you tell I have a one-track mind? FUZZ!

The timmy and AM chorus for now, since I can pick them up again later, and also probably the superdelay, since I don't use delay much to begin with. I have a problem

I do it 90% of the time with either an OLC Orange Peel or EQD Tusk but I had amp distortion on my side in the setup I posted above. Fuzz>delay>distortion is one of my absolute favorite guitar sounds.
Like my standard setup from a few months ago:

sometimes I put a bitcrusher/samplerate reducer after delay, especially if it's loopable! but not dirt dirt.
