No sir. The filter in the MF Drive is more like a q-zone +.

Feedback like a bitch when I stop playing but I think I like that for this one part in a song that I have been messing around with. All I have at home is a small Orange combo amp so I can't wait for practice tonight when I run it through my rig.
Nice dude!!! Interested in what you think through the full rig.
I think it'll sound pretty good with my Soldano since I used my old one to boost its dirty channel. Now I'll be running it a little harder with the amp set a little cleaner. I'm really curious to see how it is going to sound through my 2204.

Guys, hi. Sorry it's been a while. I miss you cats.
I'm in a new band called Khemmis. We just released a 3 song demo/ep/whateveryouwatntocallit. If you like Sleep, Red Fang, Sabbath, and Pallbearer, you might dig us. Or you might not. Whatever. It's free, so stop complaining.

Mmmmmm sound clips plz!!!! BTW you should open it up and see if the chip is socketed, if it is you can buy a LM308N chip and pop it in there really easy.

I took my Flip with me but I forgot to set it up and record. I should have though because it sounded fucking amazing. The Ritual by itself sounded huge and thick. Single notes and dissonant chording was on the verge of being muddy, but still articulate enough to come through the mix. Stacking the Rat into it helped tighten it up some but it seemed to kill a little more low end than I would like. I think I'm gonna have to Ruetz mod it to get those lows back. I ran the gain on 11 o'clock, filter full clockwise, and the volume around 3 or 4 o'clock. Doesn't have the LM308, and now I can't remember if it was socketed or not. I did find a LM358 laying around that I got off an old DOD chorus. Is that close to the 308? If the Rat has a socket in it I'll pop it in real quick and see how it sounds. I'll try to get clips from our show in Atlanta Monday night though.

hmmmm. Rat into ritual is definitely a combo I have not tried yet.
FUGG. Time to give that a shot.
I've been running my kowloon walled bunny into my rat king, and it's become my favorite toanz for a long time now.

Sounds delicious!!!

I've been considering the Reutz mod as well but i kinda don't wanna lose any gain as I use it with the gain cranked, for your usage though it should be great. It's a REALLY easy mod, all you need is a ggood set of small wire snippers. You can peep it here:
http://www.diyguitaramp.com/rat.html you lierally just snip the end of one resistor.

As far as the LM358 vs LM308 I have no idea that's something maybe Skully or Nick can chime in on.

I wanna try a KWB. I've had this Ritual for a while but my bassist used it for a while so this is my first time really getting to crank it and get a good feel for it. Definitely gonna stay on my board.

The first Rat I had I ended up putting the Ruetz mod on a switch so I could keep the stock tones in it too. Took all of about 20 minutes to take it apart, drill the hole, install it and put it all back together again. This one came with a Boss style power supply already on it so that is one less mod for me to fuck with on this one. Depending on where your volume is set (can't remember your settings that you posted right off hand), you can crank it higher and get that gain back... or very close to it. Makes it more stackable to me with the Ruetz mod too.
I looked on Mammoth and they have the LM358 on there and it is listed as a lower gain op amp.
