Yeah man I feel ya on that. I used to break strings like a mofo, then went through a long time of no band and started to break them never. With Flux I started breaking more and more and now I am making a conscious effort to not mash the hell out of the guitar but it still gets away from me from time to time. Currently my string breakage free streak is at 2 shows.
Last show I caught myself smashing the shit out of it and backed off. String breakage happens when you are really into it and is kinda a buzz kill.
I forget who asked but I will def post a link to demo here when I get the new looper.
Also, Parker, all tone pros style bridges?
Have you tried a roller bridge? that helped a lot on my guitar.

I reckon being in that band environment and having all that energy to back up your emotional connection to the music definitely contributes to breakage.
Plus, all that sweat and heat can't help either.

freakin seamless
i was breaking strings crazy too
combination hardware/technique
after solving guitar issues
whichncut breakage in half
i switched to circle ks
havent broken a string since(been months now)
and i was braking them every practice(once a week)
sometimes twice in one night
so if yer usin e.b.s or somethin cheap
definately try switchin
or maybe just try cirkle ks anyway
