I've been listening to some recently unearthed tapes (recorded on 1/2 inch tape) of an old band I was in from 1997
called Tokyo Sex Whale. We broke up not too long after these were recorded.

I played bass. Unfortunately not with fuzz. We never arrived at a vocalist. There are lyrics somewhere.
Not sure where. Or what they are. Lost in the compost bins of history. Perhaps for the best.

I've been listening back on these old things from 1997 with a mixture of nostalgia, disgust at my sloppy playing
and fond memories of kicking out the jams.

not a huge Four Year Strong fan but Kurt Bailou's production strikes again.

The fact that Kurt worked on both the new Mutoid Man and Cult Leader records has me inordinately stoked for those releases.
