I will give you props for that one. Without mucking it up with more EE stuff
Gracious defeat, my friend.
D.o.S. wrote:Taaaaasty. Also, telecasters are fucking awesome. I don't know why they don't get more love re: heavy bands.

Talk about grumpy old man...I'm still waiting for the Infanem disc echo.

Also, been playing more slide recently. Totally changes the way I look at heavy riffs.
I have a Telecaster 72 Custom and I really like it. The neck is a little chunky for my small hands, but that Broadcaster single coil, oh man, I love it. I have to replace the humbucker with a proper Wide-Range model, but apart from it's an excellent guitar for almost anything I personally throw at it.

hell yea. Figured you would like it 2. Beneath the Earth is my favorite track off it. Live its intense.
If they make it down my way I'll be sure to catch them live. I imagine they blow eardrums out with their live show.

Got word that the other band we are doing the split with approved their mastered tracks. Everything is good to go and I'll be sending everything off to the pressing plant in the morning. I cannot wait for this to come out. I'll be posting the whole album up in a day or so to bandcamp for streaming. I also went in with a few labels to copress a grind / powerviolence split too so I'll have that posted up in the next week too if any of you guys are interested in that kinda stuff.

I worked a DOA yesterday. This guy had been dead for 36 hours and was lying facedown in a pool of blood. When we rolled him over to help the investigators take crime scene pics all of the gasses building up inside of him started escaping and he let out one 10 minute long bloody bubbly sigh. Fucking creepy. Not the good Halloween creepy either.

I bet the first time he meets someone and they find out what he does he gets an immediate "So what's the craziest call you've ever had?". Sometimes I don't mind it, other times I just wanna dropkick them in the throat when they ask that.

Fucking LOL.

I can't see myself doing anything else right now at this point but yeah, it definitely isn't a job for everyone. I know it seems assholish and insensitive to make jokes about it but it is a way to distance yourself from the bad shit that you see. If you don't then you'll definitely end up on meds.

hahahaha if I can amek it more awkward you can guarantee I will.

Nah dude, all the EMT's i've met have had a similar philosophy. Like you said its really the only way to cope. And if anyone can't understand that I'd challenge them to handle one shift of your job.
