The new tele through this into the Wizard stack is fucking doomtastic. Been busting out some Winhand / Cough style tones as well as some Ufomammut style ambience combined with Earth like haunting cleans with trem. SUPER FUCKIN HAPPY.

And trust me stacking any two of the dirt pedals provides enough of a volume boost. Rat > Gloomdrive is fucking amazingly crunchy, and MC > Gloomdrive is fucking thick. Rat > MC loses definition the way i have the tone controls set but the amount of low end is just fucking ridiculous.


It's a Dirge built 1776 Multiplex delay with optional modulation board and kink control (its a momentary switch that overcharges a capacitor and causes it to sound like the tape speed went crazy fast and then slows back down). It's set in echoplex mode, which is kinda bright but I use it for lead work delay and it helps it cut through like nobodies business. I use the RV-3 for darker more ambient delays.

Taaaaasty. Also, telecasters are fucking awesome. I don't know why they don't get more love re: heavy bands.

Agreed! They really do do well in heavy music. I think their even amazing for black metal, the slick fast necks and the bright fingerboard do great for note definition in that kinda music.
