I’ve said in previous posts that I really wasn’t into the Science Hellhawk but one of my guitarists plans on getting the Mother 50 watt which I fully back. I feel like the Hellhawk just wasn’t the amp for me but the Mother with 6L6 tubes seems to be exactly what he’s going for and I know Alex makes great amps and is a good builder. I am super excited for him to put in his order!

Ordered one of the MKII Decolonizers a couple days ago. Will be cool to compare it to my MKI. Prob going to end up recording another all-Science record in a few months.

Ive finally been up to recording myself and doing a solo project lately. My Hellhawk MKII has been the only amp I've used on guitar and bass and HOLY SHIT does it handle both SO well!!! I'm glad I don't really need another amp just for bass, It kicks ass as a bass amp! I spammed this in the music thread but I thought I'd post it here too. I have a few other tracks that are all Hellhawk, some others have a Brustalist Jr for the gain though. I sold my 100 Watt Decolonizer for this guy and I do not regret it. This amp does EVERYTHING.

2. Anyone have a Science amp with the "Ghost" effects loops, and is it working well for ya?

I dont have a 610 but I do have a Ghost Loop. It wotks perfect. No levels to mess with and it does not screw with the tone at all!

The big cabs are pretty rare because they're super expensive to ship.

cool. I'll have to shoot Verellen an email and see if it will work as a slave out.

makes sense. It would just be nice to not move around my 8x10" anymore, and I've heard good things about those speakers.

The loops are series so you may not just be able to use the send as a line out. Alex could probably add a slave jack no problem though.

Looks like someone is selling their Street Sweeper. It's gorgeous but I wouldn't want one without that awesome sounding reverb. That's just me though.
I did this one custom just because the timing worked out well for the custom faceplates, etc, but I will never make another one like it. It does have the exact same features and clean tone as the regular Street Sweeper minus the reverb section. I thought about maybe offering it as a model since so many people seem to want a pedal platform, and already have fancy Strymons, Eventides, that make the 'real' reverb somewhat redundant, however it was just too straight-forward for my personal tastes, (just because there's nothing really special about it feature-wise). Of course, this amp would be the perfect fit for a lot of people who want simplicity.
oddly enough, i've come to own this one-off Street Sweeper.

i remember reading a post about KT-88s, but i can't seem to find it again. when i swap power tubes, do i have to stick with KT88s? or can i throw a set of 6L6GCs in there?

one hell of an amp by the way.

You can swap in 6L6 or EL34 and just rebias. Glad you are enjoying it!

New Decolonizer MKII just showed up. Need to spend some more time with it but thus far it rips!

I emailed alex but I figured Id ask here too. How does the tone of the hellhawk change from EL34 to 6L6? And do you think I could drop KT66/77/6CA7's in with a rebias?
