Naw man, phish fans arn't hippies. Most of them are kids form the suburbs that think they are hippies. But they are kinda missing that whole counter culture thing that hippies had. And most of them got corporate jobs once they moved out of their parents place. Or at least the phish fans I knew growing up.

Cool that all you would need is a new pickguard. That makes it very easy.
Yes it is. That could be pretty freakin cool!
Yup their actually pretty easy to work on, wiring aside.
AngryGoldfish wrote:Thanks, Skip. I know exactly what you mean and from the reading I've been doing the last week I think most people would agree with your sentiments.
What do you think to the PureSalem Woodsoul? It pretty much 'fixes' all that you mentioned. I know you haven't played it and it's a brand-new instrument, but I'd still like to hear your opinions.

And Axe, yeah, the break angle is what I hear people say decreases sustain. A lot of folks on offset forums like offsetguitars.com and shortscale.org actually love Jazzmasters for this very reason.
No problem buddy! The woodsoul looks pretty killer, if you don't use trem and you wantp-90's its definitely an offset more suited for you. And I've actually heard some good things about puresalem.

NAILED IT!!!! I know too many Phish heads unfortunately and every one of them is either a trust fund baby or sucks mommy and daddy dry. They are not hippies they are just a large group of drug inbibing wanna-be's, and while Phish are amazingly talented musicians when you play as much as they do and as many sets a night in a row shit starts to sound the same and you run out of ideas. Hence the stupid lyrics that their fans take as genius metaphors. They're not metaphors!!! They stolen from READING RAINBOW you stupid fucks!! Stop creating their genius in your head and open your ears to reality not to Moly!!!

Reading Rainbow is the shit. I still watch it when it comes on, even if my son isn't around.

I always feel cautious buying into new companies that you can't try beforehand. I would not be able to sell that guitar for anywhere close to the price I'd pay for it if I didn't like it.

Very valid point. That would make me doubly cautious.

You are a confused mexican. You like fish. Fish are tasty and nutritious even if they are now somewhat radioactive. (thanks Japan!) You do not like Phish. Knowing the difference could save your life.
Why'd they give the blind guy a show about books. Stupid.

Seriously my tolerance for bad vocals and aimless guitar wandering is so high that I can happily listen to nothing but Phish, Earth 2 and Buzzov*en for days at a time.
jk. I hate Earth 2.
