well then it does confirm my bluezzz lawyer status.
Luckily I sold the Bluesky and enough gear to cover the Bigsky so an even trade all around.

Re: The Doom Room: ILF Edition
That's a definitely a huge plus for Strymon. The ability to control multiple presets in linked units is a huge deal for gigging musicians.Ancient Astronaught wrote:I spent about two hours last night playing around with my space to see if I wanted to keep it and about 15 minutes in I got fed up with dialing in each preset, and with the ease of dialing in a preset on the space plus the ability to truly control both with one midi controller I decided to sell the space and jump on the bigsky. My main concern was the shimmer, and it can do exactly what I do with my space, the only difference is instead of having one footswitch to switch values (like from -1oct to +1oct) I'll have to switch between two presets but its still just the flick of one footswitch. I listed my space on ebay last night for a reasonable price and it sold in less than 2 hoursbut I'm still 80$ shy of the bigsky preorder
so i gotta wait till this weekend and hope its still going.
They're great pedals. There is very little else out there that does what they do. Eventide are their obvious counterparts, but Strymon also have smaller pedals that are highly popular and excellent, especially the El Capistan. That's the pedal that put them on the map. Then the TimeLine put them in the constellations.nightterrors wrote:I haven't tried anything Strymon.
Am I missing out...? Er?
My friend picked up some brewing equipment the other day. I'm totally going to drink all his booze.t-rey wrote:Yesterday was my anniversary. My super rad wife bought me kegging equipment for mah homebrew. This is incredibly awesome because now I will have my own beer on tap right next to my amps. The only down side is that gear funds must be reallocated to fund a kegerator

Hmmmm....I need to do more research. Clearly.conky wrote:The Timefactor has stereo in and out and can be found really cheap used. I scored mine for $240 shipped or something like that.
Hey man, nothing wrong with redirecting funds towards beer. Beer IS gear. Besides, even with a fancy setup its still cheaper than buying alcohol. And once you get scientific about it, BETTER! Plus, you can experiment.t-rey wrote:Yesterday was my anniversary. My super rad wife bought me kegging equipment for mah homebrew.
