well then it does confirm my bluezzz lawyer status.
Luckily I sold the Bluesky and enough gear to cover the Bigsky so an even trade all around.

Ancient Astronaught wrote:I spent about two hours last night playing around with my space to see if I wanted to keep it and about 15 minutes in I got fed up with dialing in each preset, and with the ease of dialing in a preset on the space plus the ability to truly control both with one midi controller I decided to sell the space and jump on the bigsky. My main concern was the shimmer, and it can do exactly what I do with my space, the only difference is instead of having one footswitch to switch values (like from -1oct to +1oct) I'll have to switch between two presets but its still just the flick of one footswitch. I listed my space on ebay last night for a reasonable price and it sold in less than 2 hours :yay: but I'm still 80$ shy of the bigsky preorder :grumpy: so i gotta wait till this weekend and hope its still going.
That's a definitely a huge plus for Strymon. The ability to control multiple presets in linked units is a huge deal for gigging musicians.
nightterrors wrote:I haven't tried anything Strymon.
Am I missing out...? Er?
They're great pedals. There is very little else out there that does what they do. Eventide are their obvious counterparts, but Strymon also have smaller pedals that are highly popular and excellent, especially the El Capistan. That's the pedal that put them on the map. Then the TimeLine put them in the constellations. They must have made so much money from that one pedal, enough to support their entire business let alone with their other pedals. As said though, they're a bit unpopular amongst certain groups of people (*cough* Harmony Central *cough*) because all the bluez lawyers from TGP own them and use them in their Praise & Worship bands. That shouldn't detract from how genius they are.

My friend picked up some brewing equipment the other day. I'm totally going to drink all his booze. :thumb:

Hey man, nothing wrong with redirecting funds towards beer. Beer IS gear. Besides, even with a fancy setup its still cheaper than buying alcohol. And once you get scientific about it, BETTER! Plus, you can experiment.
And your wife is cool as shit. Best bday present ever.

Next to summit's bloom! :doom:
