Hey guys,
Don't know if you have seen but strymon is coming out with a reverb box. I think I might need to snag it and rearrange my board a bit when it comes out. I seriously have a reverb problem.
http://www.strymon.net/bigsky/
I have seen a few of you guys using strymon pedals before, what do you guys think of the ones you got? I haven't had one form the company before.

Jason I dig the Strymon stuff. I have a Mobius and a Bluesky now, contemplating the upgrade or so to Bigsky
I have had a EL Cap and a Timeline as well. Its all really quality stuff. As far as why I got rid of the TL, I didnt find use for the many delay modes, I wish I still had my El Cap actually. Really awesome sounding delay. The mobius is great and covers all my modulation ground. Bluesky has the best plate verb I have seen. I hate spring verb and most verbs are spring.

Hey Nick, you can program different timed delays into each stereo channel on the TL hey?

Cool. I think I may sell my supernatural and some other stuff laying around to fund the purchase. I will probably keep the supermoon but put it in front of the dirt on my board to get the crazy sounds that can achieve.

Yeah I love the idea of that.
Some dude off gumtree just offered me a trex Dr swamp in trade for my mantra. I don't want it, but could I flip it for more easily? He reckons he paid AU$489.
Again, if I can offload it quickly for more than that I would be happy, but I'm sceptical.

( have the regular bluesky and its great. That new one looks sweet though. If you use a lot of different delay id say go for it. otherwise the regular bluesky can do damn near all of that on its own and is also stereo.

Yeah I use a lot of reverb and delay with my band. What I like about this is I can set up the different presets rather than having to switch around the different settings on my super natural for every song.

Ill repost my thoughts from BigSky ILF thread. The Magneto mode its really nice IMO, very much like a Binson delay (multihead echo) but you can sort of mod it from pure verb to delay. The plate is very nice expanding on the mode from the Bluesky.
there is also a built in cab sim, something I think its pretty rad. Beyond that Cloud and Bloom are nice sounding to me as well.

I found the thread in general gear after I posted here, so thanks for sharing again. I have gone through all the videos on their site and it seems really nice. I just like having access to a lot of different textures. It may get lost in a live situation but eh, we shall see.
In other news the new russian circles has leaked and it is killer. I have the vinyl on its way in the mail and I am super excited about it. Not very doomy but I think it is killer:

As a drummer, I dig this band quite a bit. Dave Turncrantz fits that group really well. He can lean into his kit, or play very subtle pieces. It all sounds nice.
